Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does it cost extra to drop the car off at a different location from where we picked it up?

A: No. The vehicle can be delivered to one location and picked up from a totally different location at no additional charge.

Q: Are there any additional charges beside the price stated in the confirmation email?

A: Once the car is confirmed, we send you a confirmation email which contains the final price. This price will not change, unless you purchase additional services or upgrades.

Q: Do you provide the Temporary License that is required to drive in Antigua?

A: Yes. We pre-purchase these licenses from the Antigua & Barbuda Transport Board and have them available at the time of the rental for your convenience at no additional charge. This eliminates you having to go to a police station or Transport Board to purchase one. We will however need to see your valid license from your country of residence. A cost $20 US or $50 EC will be applied.

Q: Who is responsible if the vehicle gets damaged?

A: It is very much standard that a renter is responsible to bring the vehicle back in the same condition as it was rented, or additional charges will apply. We, however, offer OPTIONAL insurance that you may purchase as part of our CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) agreement. Please read our "Terms & Conditions" for further details.

Q: Do I need additional Insurance?

A: This is a judgment call from you the renter as to the liability you wish to open yourself up should you have an accident. This should be based on your level of comfort with our roads and traffic system. Please note we are not in a position to tell you if your credit card company provides insurance and as to what level of insurance the card company will offer. Therefore you will need to speak to your credit card company prior to renting a vehicle. Please note that you cannot double up. If you rent with a credit card that offers you coverage and still take our CDW in the event of an accident the credit card company will ask you if you took the CDW from the rental company. In most cases if you say “yes” they will not cover you and you cannot make any claims with them. Should you not take CDW we will require you sign a damage acknowledgement form when renting vehicle. Please take note of this.

Q: What is covered in the "Collision Damage Waiver"?

A: Please read our "Terms & Conditions" for further details.

Q: Can anybody else drive my car rental?

Yes, providing they meet all regular rental requirements and are listed on your rental agreement.

Q: Do you provide child safety seats and when are they required?

Yes, we provide child safety seats at an additional cost of US$5 per day. The Law requires all children under 4 years of age, to be transported in a child restraint system. According to a study by the national Highway traffic safety administration, children are safest when riding in the backseat of a vehicle.
